Oat flour waffles

I never owned a waffle maker until now. But I woke up one morning thinking: “I want waffles!” So here I am, explaining to my brother how I am going to buy the perfect waffle maker, the kind that makes Belgian waffle shaped waffles and how I’m going to find healthy, gluten free recipes to make them and so on and so forth. It just so happened to be my birthday that day and my brother ended up buying the perfect waffle maker for me.

All that was left for me to do, was to find a delicious recipe to make waffles first thing next morning. And I did!

Ingredients (makes 6 waffles):

1 ½ cups Oat Flour

1 tablespoon Baking Powder

Pinch Salt

2 Eggs

1 cup Rice Milk

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

1. Whisk all the ingredients to combine.

2. Cook in your waffle maker according to instructions of the manufacturer until golden and delicious. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy. I suggest melting quality dark chocolate (70%) and adding raspberries.
