{More delicious} Smoothies – Part 3

Days are passing and the organizers of our smoothie challenge don’t seem to run out of ideas for new amazing smoothies. Making a smoothie has really become part of my daily routine now and I just can’t wait to try all the recipes and to get a list of new ones each Friday. And don’t think you should limit yourself to only the recipes I provide to you in my blogs. Feel free to experiment and combine your favorite fruits and vegetables. The basic rule is 1 cup green leaves, 1 1/2 cup fruits and 1 cup water. Since 1 1/2 cup fruits is much heavier that a cup of green leaves, you will still get a ratio of about 1:2 in favor of fruits.

1 cup kale

1 tsp spirulina

1 apple

1 banana

1 slice ginger

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp chia seeds (soaked in 7 tsp water over night)

My top three choices from all the above would be (probably because they taste a lot like desserts):

1. Spinach Vanilla Smoothie,

2. Strawberry Smoothie with Kale and

3. Spinach Griotte.

So if you don’t decide to try all of the above, at least try these three (in the above order). Trust me, they taste a-mazing!
